71st Golden Globe Awards (2014)

The 71st Golden Globe Awards ceremony honoured the best in film and television features of 2013, and was held in Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California on on January 12, 2014, by the National Broadcasting Company. Tina Fey and Amy Poehler co-hosted the ceremony. Nominations were announced on December 13 by Aziz Ansari, Zoe Saldana and Olivia Wilde. The Cecil B. DeMille Award, honouring the lifetime achievements of actors and filmmakers, was awarded to Woody Allen. "American Hustle", "Behind the Candelabra", "Breaking Bad", "Brooklyn Nine-Nine", and "Dallas Buyers Club" were among the films and television shows that received multiple awards. "12 Years a Slave" was nominated in multiple categories but won just the Best Film award.
