Highlights of 67th Golden Globes Awards ceremony

  • The 67th Golden Globe Awards honored the best films of 2009.
  • The award ceremony was held on 17th January 2010 at the The Beverly Hilton hotel.
  • "The Office" star Ricky Gervais anchored the show.
  • Golden Globe winners Robert De Niro and Leonardo DiCaprio will present the Cecil B. DeMille Award to Martin Scorsese.
  • Among other presenters were Jennifer Aniston, Mickey Rourke, Julia Roberts, Halle Berry, Colin Farrell, Matthew Fox, Nicole Kidman and Sam Worthington.
  • Avatar won the Best Picture award.
  • Jeff Bridges won the Best Actor award for his role in The Crazy Heart.
  • Sandra Bullock won the Best Actess award for her role in The Blind Side.
  • James Cameron won the Best Director award for Avatar.
