Plot Summary
The film follows the story of two buddies, Kanhaiya (Tusshar Kapoor) and Rocky (Aftab Shivdasani). Kanhaiya is the son of industrialist PK Lele (Shakti Kapoor), and has been thrown out by his father as he is good-for-nothing. Being disheartened, he leaves for Bangkok, accompanied by his best pal Rocky, to take up a job offered by Mickey (Krishna Abhishek). Upon reaching Bangkok, the duo realise that the Mickey has a pornographic business, and that they have been hired as porn stars. Alhough Rocky and Kanhaiya are initially reluctant to work as porn stars, they give in at the end because of money. But things take an interesting turn when Kanhaiya falls head over heels in love with Shaalu (Mandana Karimi). At one point, Shaalu asks Kanhaiya to bring his family and meet up with her conservative father Surya Karjatya (Darshan Jariwala). Kanhaiya, determined not to let Shaalu go at any cost, is left with no choice but seek help from his porn co-stars to pose as his traditional family members. What follows is a comedy of errors and chaos, all of which lead to a topsy-turvy situation.
The film is the third installment of Kyaa Kool Hain Hum film series, and a sequel to Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum (2012).

Actor Alok Nath was approached for the film to play the role of Surya Karjatya, but he declined. His role was then given to Darshan Jariwala.

Filmmaker Sooraj Barjatya was apparently upset that his name was referenced in the film without his permission.

Even before the film was given an 'A' certificate, the Censor Board chopped off 34 scenes from the film terming them to be vulgar or obscene for adults.

The film has been rendered unsuitable for public viewing by the both, the provincial censor boards and the Central Board for Film Certification (CBFC) in Pakistan.

KYAA KOOL HAIN HUM 3 suffers from a weak script and vacuous screenplay which will be a huge turnoff even for its target audience. The masses will be disappointed and box office prospects will also be a grim disappointment for the makers after the initial hysteria subsides.

And all those limp jokes don’t add up to a comedy, either. False pretences. Can I please call it a falsie? I know, groan again. Given the previous two flicks, did we really think this would be a bag of laughs? More fool hain hum.

Everyone enjoys a sex comedy once in a while provided it has genuine humour and content that’s true to the genre. But sadly, Umesh Ghatge’s Kyaa Kool Hain Hum 3 falls short on both counts.
