Bollywood superstar Salman Khan and award winning director Kabir Khan are currently busy with the shooting of Tubelight, and rumours are already doing rounds that the actor-director duo, who have delivered blockbuster hits like Ek Tha Tiger and Bajrangi Bhaijaan, may come together one again for another movie.
The recent reports suggest that Salman, 50, will be seen in her sister Alvira Agnihotri and brother-in-law Atul Agnihotri's next production, and the Dabangg star apparently recommended Kabir's name as the helmer. The film is said to be based on 1983 World Cup victory of the Indian Cricket team.
A source close to the actor revealed, "Salman has immense faith in Kabir as a filmmaker and after two blockbusters. The comfort level has only grown stronger with Tubelight. And when Atul and Alvira were looking out for a director to helm their next project, Salman suggested Kabir's name. He has become like a family member to the Khans. Another director Salman has worked with that often is Sooraj Barjatya, who gave Salman his first hit Maine Pyaar Kiya. They also worked together in Hum Aapke Hain Koun...!, Hum Saath-Saath Hain and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo."
More details of the film are yet to be revealed.
