His biography has been described as "an honest, heartwarming and personal account" of the Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.

The biography has been penned by Poonam Saxena, and co-authored by Johar himself and Saxena. The biography is believed to have unknown and intimate details of Karan's life, his growing up years, and his journey of Bollywood. His biography has been described as "an honest, heartwarming and personal account" of the Ae Dil Hai Mushkil director.

Reports suggest that “Karan has poured his heart and soul into this book and has opened up like never before. It would be really interesting to read the book and know Karan Johar beyond a filmmaker."
