Janet Jackson welcomes first child

The American singer-actress Janet Jackson and her husband, Wissam Al Mana, have been blessed with a baby boy on Tuesday.
The newborn has been named Eissa Al Mana, shared a representative of the "All for You" singer. "Janet Jackson and husband Wissam Al Mana are thrilled to welcome their new son Eissa Al Mana into the world. Janet had a stress-free healthy delivery and is resting comfortably."
Rumours of the 50-year-old singer's ill health started doing rounds when she postponed a tour after launching her 2015 album "Unbreakable" and posted a video on social media telling fans that she was taking a break from live performances. The For Colored Girls actress did so to go the family way which became apparent from an announcement she made in April last year "My husband and I are planning our family". She also kept out of spotlight for most part of last year to avoid any hiccups during pregnancy. The singer made another announcement last October confirming her pregnancy, and that she was expecting her first child with Al Mana.
Jackson married Al Mana, a Qatar-based business magnate in 2012. While this is Al Mana's first marriage, Jackson was previously married to singer James DeBarge (1984-85) and dancer René Elizondo Jr (1991-2000). Eissa is the pop singer's first child.
