The Ghanta Award is an award presented in recognition of the worst in films in Bollywood. Founded by Prashant Rajkhowa and Karan Anshuman in 2010, the Annual Ghanta Awards ceremony takes place in Mumbai, at about the same time as other major Bollywood awards. The award comes in form of a large golden bell, typically used for idol worship. The nominees for the awards are handpicked by a panel of renowned mainstream film critics - Anuruddha Guha, Rahul Desai, Shubha Saha, Sudhish Kamath, and Sahil Rizwan. The winners are then determined via online votes casted by the public.
