4th IIFA Awards (2003)
The 4th International Indian Film Academy Awards ceremony honoured the best films of 2002 and took place in May 2003 in Johannesburg, South Africa. This year the first ever IIFA Foundation Charity Celebrity Cricket Match was organized at the Centurion Grounds. It was supported by the entire IIFA contingent, consisting of Indian and South African film stars, celebrities, cricketers, government leaders, IIFA's South African partners and Indian and South African fans. The main event took place at the Dome at Northgate. During the ceremony, IIFA Awards were awarded in 27 competitive categories. The ceremony was televised in India and internationally on Star Plus. Actor Rahul Khanna hosted the ceremony. The weekend began with the IIFA Inaugural Press Conference. This was followed by an IIFA Foundation Celebrity Football Match, which was held at the Jalan Besar Stadium in Singapore. The event was hosted by Anil Kapoor and Diya Mirza.
