47th Filmfare Awards (2002)

The 47th Filmfare Awards honored the best Bollywood films of 2001.
The award ceremony was held on 16th February 2002 at Bandra-Kurla Complex, Mumbai, India.
Lagaan won the Best Film award.
Aamir Khan won the Best Actor award for his role in Lagaan.
Kajol won the Best Actess award for her role in Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham.
Ashutosh Gowariker won the Best Director award for Lagaan.
