71st Academy Awards (1999)

The 71st Academy Awards honored the best films of 1998. The award ceremony was held on 21st March 1998 at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, Los Angeles, California. Whoopi Goldberg was the anchor of the show. Shakespeare in Love was awarded Best Picture trophy. The movie was also the winner of maximum awards. Roberto Benigni won the Best Actor award for his role in Life Is Beautiful, while Gwyneth Paltrow won the Best Actess award for her role in Shakespeare in Love.
