The 74th Academy Awards honored the best films of 2001. The award ceremony was held on 24th March 2002 at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood, California. Whoopi Goldberg was the anchor of the show. A Beautiful Mind was awarded Best Picture trophy. A Beautiful Mind and The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring were the winner of maximum awards.
