72nd Academy Awards (2000)
The 72nd Academy Awards honored the best films of 1999. The award ceremony was held on 26th March 2000 at the Shrine Auditorium, Los Angeles, California. Billy Crystal was the anchor of the show. American Beauty was awarded Best Picture trophy. The movie was also the winner of maximum awards. Kevin Spacey won the Best Actor award for his role in American Beauty, while Hilary Swank won the Best Actess award for her role in Boys Don't Cry.
